We had sooo many Christmas pictures, so I decided to do a slide show instead of post them in order! We had such a fun time this year making memories with our little family! On Christmas Eve we got up, picked up the house and got ready for the day. Robby took us all out for lunch to a little Italian restaurant by our home. The kid's were so cute and well behaved. Laney just learned how to say "your welcome", so every time our waiter came by she would say "thank you, your welcome" in one breath! It was so funny and cute, we had a great time. Then, it was time for Laney to go to sleep, so Robby loaded up the older kid's and took them sledding! When they got home we watched Christmas Vacation and laughed alot!! Robby is so amazing when it comes to holiday's and cooking! He prepared an awesome Christmas Eve dinner and all I had to do was clean up!! The kid's favorite part was the 3 layer jello Rob made in wine glasses! What a fun Dad!! Well, we finished the night by opening our Christmas pj's (which my Mom sewed for all the grand kid's)! We made cookies for Santa and put salt outside for the reindeer! We put Laney to bed so we could have a little spiritual moment. Robby read a beautiful book called, God bless your way, we all felt the spirit and it came with a CD with a song written about the book! It is a very touching story! After the kid's were in bed, Robby surprised me with a classic movie "White Christmas" so we snuggled up downstairs and waited until the kid's were sound asleep!! Next thing I knew, it was 7:30 am and Treyson was saying "get up Mom and Dad".
Well, Christmas morning was a success! Everyone was happy and it was so fun to see the kid's so excited! Trey got the orange Ipod he asked for, along with some clothes, Cd's, Xbox games and movies. He also got his first razor scooter! Now he won't have to steal Carsons! Kamrie was tickled pink with her gift's! She literally got EVERYTHING pink!! A pink motor scooter, pink razor scooter, a pink Nintendo DS, a pink CD player! Luckily her clothes weren't ALL pink, she did get spoiled this year! She must have been a good girl!! Carson wasn't very surprised when he saw his 4 wheeler because that is the only thing he asked for!! He was surprised to see a hunting play set and new razor scooter though! He loved his Bronco's hat and his kung fu panda movie!! Laney Jo loved her baby doll and all baby toy's. She got the graco set with the swing, port a crib, high chair and stroller! She also got a toy guitar player and she loves to get down with her music! She loves to play in her princess tent and have tea parties with her new tea set!! Robby got the usual clothes and a few CD's. I think his favorite was the Johnny Cash T-shirt and UofU Sweatshirt the kid's gave him! Also, his Grandma Hiskey gave him an old pair of scissors! At first we thought she made a mistake and wrapped the wrong thing until Robby remembered something and started laughing out loud! When he was about 8 years old, his Grandma was sitting at the sewing machine sewing something and Robby crawled underneath the table and cut the cord with a pair of scissors!! He says all he remembers is a flash of light! It's a miracle he didn't get electrocuted!! Anyway, there is still a burn mark on the scissors! What a funny memory! Thank you Grandma for keeping the scissors all these years! It was a great story to tell your great grandchildren!! We love you and Grandpa so much!!
Robby spoiled me with lot's of clothes, perfume and the kid's couldn't wait to give me the gifts they picked out for me!! Trey gave me a heart shaped necklace, Kamrie gave me earrings, Carson gave me bracelets and Laney gave me a cute scarf and gloves(which Kamrie says she really picked out.).
Anyway, we had a wonderful Christmas and we are so grateful for our family and friends! We are especially thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ and this time of year to celebrate his life!!
